Story
The Titanic’s story has been told in countless ways, but no one remembers it quite like Céline Dion – or at least, the version of her we meet in Titanique. In this outrageous musical parody, Céline takes the audience on a retelling of James Cameron’s blockbuster Titanic – but as she remembers it. From Jack and Rose’s whirlwind romance to the ship’s fateful end, this laugh-out-loud spectacle is packed with surprises, nostalgia, and Céline’s signature flair.

(Disclaimer: The real Céline Dion is not in the show, but I can’t say you won’t think she is when seeing it.)
Review
Walking into the theater, all I knew was that this was Titanic – as told by Céline Dion. I’ve never actually seen the movie (gasp!), but now I don’t have to because Titanique has given me the real story (or at least the funniest one). From start to finish, this show is pure chaos in the best way. The humor is non-stop, with jokes and references landing perfectly every time. In fact, I genuinely couldn’t tell what was scripted and what was improvised because the cast’s comedic timing was just that good. And not to worry the jokes didn’t feel dated.
And then there’s the music. At times, I almost forgot I was watching a musical – until the cast started singing and suddenly, I was floored by the killer vocals. Lauren Drew, who plays Céline, is a comedic powerhouse, delivering every line, song, and physical gag with impeccable timing and an irresistible energy. The rest of the cast follows suit, bringing this ridiculous, larger-than-life version of Titanic to life in the most unpredictable and hilarious ways. Honestly, I have no idea how they didn’t break character every second.

For fans of musical comedy, Titanique is the show to see. It delivers everything you could want from a parody – iconic music, razor-sharp humor, and a wildly talented cast that keeps you laughing from beginning to end. Playing through June 8 – so don’t miss your chance to board this unsinkable theatrical sensation!
